My agency took me on the most incredible journey with Boris — he is a local wine genius and gave us the best experience of Slovenian wine. Didn’t even know how much I was would love Slovenian wine. Thanks Boris and team!!!

We had a fabulous time tasting Slovenian wines. Boris was so welcoming, massively enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Slovenian wines. We tasted a great range, learned where each was produced and the wine making processes. The cheese, olives and bread with special Slovenian olive oil was super tasty. We met some fellow wine lovers from around the world and had a wonderful time overall. Deffo worth checking out. In Bled or Ljubljana. The wine cellar in Bled we visited was great and historic.

We had a fantastic night with Boris! He was so informative and allowed us to taste 7 Slovenian wines. We also tried some pumpkin seed oil, cheese, bread and chocolates to pair with the wines. Boris is passionate, energetic and very knowledgeable and we had a great night in Bled sampling these unique wines. I’d recommend to any wine lovers who are visiting Slovenia!

The tasting was a fantastic evening and a great way to try a wide variety of Slovenian wines! It was spectacular, Boris was brilliant and really made the evening fantastic.

Brilliant wine tasting experience, very informal and interesting. Boris was an extremely knowledgeable host and made the evening fun and entertaining. Seven different varieties of wine, all of exceptional quality.

Tina taking the session was engaging, enthusiastic and incredibly knowable. Covered all levels of wine knowledge from beginner to understand maseration and fermentation processes. Company and atmosphere was second to none and most importantly the wine was incredible. 10/10 would recommend and do again!

Boris is excellent. Every wine we tasted had a specific taste and history. You start with the fresh whites and slowly move to the deeper reds.

Dit was een hele leuke ervaring. Mijn partner en ik waren de enige personen waardoor de wijnproeverij extra gezellig weer. Tina vertelde ons heel veel leerzame dingen uit eigen ervaringen waardoor het extra leuk was. Ik zelf was nog nooit naar een wijnproeverij geweest en dit maakte het extra leuk en speciaal. De wijn waren lekker inclusief de hapjes. Een echte aanrader om te doen!

Super leuk! Heerlijke Sloveense wijnen en Boris is een geweldige gastheer. Lekkere hapjes bij de wijnen. En een mooie kelder, echte aanrader!

We had a wonderful time with Boris! We learned a lot about Slovenian wine and got to try some really unique wines. It was a great introduction to Slovenia and to the wine here, and we recommend it for other wine lovers!

The wine tasting experience were a very good way to discover the main Slovenian wines. Boris give us very precise and interesting information :) The place in a cave under the restaurant is very authentic.

We should have done this day one so we had a better application of the local wine. Slovenia has a delicious boutique wine scene. Who would have known? Us if we did this sooner. Boris did a great job helping us understand. Excellent English and made the evening fun. Highly recommend and do as soon as possible.

De wine tasting was erg leuk! We kwamen in een oude wijnkelder en daar is dan ook de proeverij. Het is heel sfeervol. Tijdens het proeven legt Boris vanalles uit over de verschillende wijnen. Tijdens het proeven krijg je ook brood e.d. bij de wijn. Wij hebben er van genoten! Zeker een aanrader!

We had an amazing time with Boris learning about / sampling the wines. Being slightly out of season we happened to be the only two who had booked onto the tasting but he still went ahead with enthusiasm and made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. The wines we tried were amazing - especially orange wine with the chocolate pairing - will definitely be purchasing some wines in the near future. Highly recommend!!

Bin mit meiner Freundin spontan (am morgen gebucht) zu der Weinverkostung gegangen und es war klasse. Boris super sympathisch, witzig und fachlich sehr bewandert stellte uns verschiedene Weine vor. Dazu gab es Käse, Kürbiskernöl (richtig gutes!), Schinken (ebenfalls lecker). Wir haben auch die Schokolade spontan dazugebucht und es war ein super Erlebnis! Zwecks Fotos (wie in anderer Review beschrieben): Vor der Verkostung wird ein Formular ausgefüllt (auch zwecks Fotos)- falls man dies nicht möchte kann man das mitteilen. Für Weinliebhabee defintiv ein Muss! Preis völlig ok für diese Anzahl (in Dt wesentich teurer). Super Infos bezüglich Weinbau speziell in Slowenien aber auch im allgemeinen zu den Rebsorten.

A lovely fun evening of learning about and tasting a variety of Slovenian wines. Boris’ enthusiasm was great and really makes the evening. The wines and food were lovely.

Four of us visited for the wine tasting. Our hostess, Tina, was excellent - very knowledgeable about both the wines presented and the region as a whole. The wines were stand out, with several varieties unique to Slovenia that we hadn't encountered before. Cheese, bread, pumpkin oil and an excellent cured ham made for some amazing snacks - highly recommend! Thank you!

This is a must do in bled, we love our wine and wanted to learn a little more. Boris is so knowledgeable and so much fun. I couldn’t recommend this more. The wines are something special. Came away with The orange wine, and is my new favourite, we will definitely be getting deliveries when we get back. Thank you so much for the most enjoyable night we have had so far on-our trip. I’m even considering doing it again tonight.

A great way to spend an evening in Bled. You get to taste 7 extraordinary wines- all are very different but very good and at the same time you learn something new. Interesting for foreigners as well as for Slovenians.

This is definitely a must go if you're visiting Bled. Even if wines are not your first pick, Boris has a lot more to offer. Probably the best way to enjoy the evening with your date or friends.

Boris was such a great host! We learned so much about Slovenian wine and the general culture surrounding it. He was very informative and fun making the perfect atmosphere for our family of five with varying wine tastes feel at home. We were blown away by the orange wine and the oldest wine in the world. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in learning more about not only wine, but Slovenia as a country.

This was an absolutely wonderful evening. I was the only one that signed up for the evening and Boris called me that morning to check to see if I was still interested in attending, which of course I was, and truly appreciated that he was still willing to host with only one person. Boris was very knowledgeable of each wine and took the time to get to know my preferences before allowing me to sample the tasty Slovenian wines. The orange wine pairing with the cinnamon chocolate was delicious, and I learned that all Rieslings are so sweet. I am not a big fan of merlots, but Boris opened my eyes, or should I say tastebuds, to a merlot blend which was very intriguing. Overall the evening was a learning experience but also a fun time, and one that I highly recommend for an evening out in Bled.

Took part in an evening wine tasting with Boris at Lake Bled. Was great fun! Boris is very enthusiastic. You learn about the Slovenian wines as well as tasting the wine, with a blind tasting added in. The setting was great and we had cheese, ham and bread to nibble on. Would definitely recommend this as an activity to take part in, if visiting Lake Bled.

We just got back from our trip to Slovenia and we're still thinking fondly of the time we spent with Boris at Wine Tasting Bled. We booked for this tasting about a month in advance online, booking was very easy. They only take cash at this time, which isn't a big deal just make sure to be prepared and we were reminded of this in advance of our visit. Our evening with Wine Tasting Bled started off with dinner at the restaurant above (which I almost regretted after seeing the amount of food as the amount of food provided during the tasting was substantial. Pro tip, eat light before you go). A thunderstorm had just set in as we were having dinner so wine tasting was a perfect way to spend a rainy night inside. The tasting program is in a wine cellar in the basement of a quaint restaurant that has been there since 1909, which means the wine cellar is also 100 years old as well! The wines were stellar and we learned so much about the Slovenian wine-growing regions, it really was an education and made us want to come back to Slovenia to visit those wine regions we learned about. We paired wines with chocolates, cheeses and one particular pairing we really loved was with a local sausage. I won't ruin the surprise for you but there was also a very cool blind tasting experiment that was educational and fun. We also were able to purchase some of the wines we loved to take home with us. The most fun part of the entire experience was Boris, whose passion for Slovenian wine really comes through. Getting to spend time with Boris made the entire experience worthwhile. If you're in Bled, take the time one evening to experience this unique wine cellar and tasting experience.

Charming Bled has amazing outdoor vistas during the day, but we were looking for something to do at night in the little town by the lake. Spending the evening in the 100 year old wine cellar below the Murka restaurant was just the thing. Slovenian wine is clearly a passion for Boris, who conducts the tasting of 7 different varieties with some fun games along the way. I won't spoil the surprises, but the tasting progressed from the lightest white wines, through a couple of Slovenian specialties that will be new to California wine drinkers like us, finishing with a hearty red and a sweet dessert wine. Each wine paired well with the cheese, bread and olives that were served, along with pumpkin seed oil for dipping. For a 5 euro upgrade you can pair some of the heartier wines with artisan chocolate. I had a late lunch and didn't feel the need to eat dinner after all the sipping and munching. I learned a lot about how different winemakers in this country age and bottle their vintages, some of them aging in the chilly waters of Lake Bled. Overall, an excellent value at 35 euros per person at the time of our visit and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fun evening with other wine enthusiasts in Bled.

Great fun tasting with Boris. 7 Slovenian wines which I had never tried before. Educational, fun, interactive and some terrific sausage to go along with the wines. Boris has a really infectious enthusiasm for the wines and made the whole evening lots of fun. You must go!

Boyfriend and I had a fantastic evening wine tasting with Boris last Friday. It was us and another couple with Boris and Petra down in the wine cellar. Boris is so passionate about Slovenian wine and we could see why. Each wine was so delicious and we particularly enjoyed the orange wine and the cviček! So much so we’ve ordered a case of each! And ended up buying 2 bottles of the cviček to drink with him after the tasting! If you’re looking for a great night out I would highly recommend this. If we’re ever back in Slovenia we will definitely be returning to enjoy more Slovenian wine with Boris!

This has been a great fun and informatove experience, Boris make you taste great wines for all over Slovenia in a way i never did before. I surely will come because it has been a unique experience

This was the best expiriance in my life!I tasted the most beautiful wines and just felt GREAT!The atmosphere,host,traditional music behind,the whole experience CAN NOT be described in words,its so much fun you cant just tell someone,you must feel it!So people,you know where to go when you come to Slovenia,and the man who will learn you and explain you everything thats important for DOLCE VITA called Boris,so find THE man and enjoy.

This wine tasting was the best experience we had in Bled. Boris is so knowledgeable and passionate about his job, and it shows each time he introduces a wine. He will thoroughly explain which region it comes from, how it was made, and what to look for with aroma and taste. A little bit of history is thrown in, too! You can really tell that he took the time to meticulously pick out each and every detail throughout the tasting so that everyone has the best experience. He even throws in a few fun surprises. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Lake Bled. It is worth every penny, and you get more than what you paid for. I can’t wait to return and try different wines in the future! Boris was very friendly and knowledgeable, the blind tasting was also a lot of fun. We got to taste a great range of wines from all over Slovenia. Lots of cheese, bread and olives as well!

Boris is an excellent host - so much knowledge and charisma!! Great fun and amazing wines!!! We had 7 wines to try from and Boris takes you through them all and the history of Slovenia wines with great vigour and passion. Loved it!!

De vrouw die de uitleg gaf, wist veel over de wijnen uit Slovenië. Daarnaast stond ze open voor vragen en grapjes. Ze is officieel sommelier, met verstand van zaken. De sfeer was goed, ook die gecreëerd werd onderling tussen verschillend gezelschappen. De wijn was heeerlijk!

We had an absolute blast. It was a small group of six from US and us from UK and we had such a laugh with our wine guide - Boris. His expertise and enthusiasm for Slovenian wine was excellent and we learnt a lot. Definitely worth it if in Bled or Ljudljana.

This is easily the best wine tasting I have been to, across multiple countries. Boris is an incredible, fun host, and because it is a small-group tasting he personalises it to the guests on the day. Lots of bread, cheese, & pumpkin seed oil was provided for nibbles, we had the option to add chocolate pairings to some of the wines which really elevated the experience, and as we were feeling good the group voted to add a couple of more tastings on, which we were allowed to choose ourselves. A really fun evening, learned lots about Slovenian wines and the different wine regions. Great value for money and I would recommend to anyone interested in experiencing the great variety of wines available in Slovenia.
